Phlox are ever popular plants in our gardens. Their showy flower trusses create a magnificent show for many weeks during the summer months and are really excellent value for money. They thrive in almost any position but a mulch of compost or well decayed manure in Spring will ensure strong healthy plants.
Research in recent years has produced a completely new breed of this wonderful plant. One of the finest varieties is Fondant Fancy®, much shorter than the traditional type growing to a height of 50cm. (20 in.). It produces large trusses packed with lovely rose pink pips showing a conspicuous rosy red eye and deep green foliage, truly outstanding.
