Agapanthus are amongst our most popular plants because they create large umbels of showy colourful flowers which will create a focal point anywhere in the garden. Apart from being excellent border plants they are superb planted in large tubs. They will normally survive our winter weather and only during prolonged severe frost should the pots be removed to a sheltered place such as a garden shed or garage. Agapanthus will give their best show of flowers when the roots are pot bound, therefore, they should not be transplanted until the plants become too congested.
The variety Black Buddhist is a very beautiful plant of recent introduction. It produces large umbels of flowers of bright violet blue on dark green stems. An interesting feature is that when the sun strikes them they take on an almost black hue, hence the name.
By way of introduction we have a special half price offer for a limited time. Each Black Buddhist is now half price, only £3.70, and for every four
plants purchased you will be sent another free of charge. This makes an exclusive pot of Agapanthus Black Buddist a very affordable proposition.
To receive your special offer of Agapanthus Black Buddist simply type in the promotional code CUSHION at the check out. The special price will be applied to your basket and the free items will be added after you complete your purchase. This offer ends 9th February 2009.
