Plant of the Week - Cyclamen Coum Silverleaf
Cyclamen Coum are amongst the most delightful and rewarding plants to flower in our garden during the Winter and early Spring. At this time of the year they just begin to produce a multitude of dainty blossoms which in reality are extremely hardy. Neither snow or frost will in the least deter them and they brave the most inclement weather for up to six weeks. They seed themselves freely so that just a few plants will soon establish a colony. Plant in shade or semi shade and add a layer of compost or a mulch of leafmould before the foliage appears in Autumn.![]()
We have a limited stock of the exclusive variety Silverleaf, which is only available to order at our online shop. The lovely kidney shaped foliage, which appears in the Autumn, is silvery green contrasting beautifully with a band of deep green towards the edges. The flowers are in various shades of pink ranging from a blossom pink to a deeper pink. They look most attractive planted near the trunk of a tree.
By way of introduction we have a special offer for a limited time.
