Ideal plants to enliven the garden during the winter months for their foliage. The berries that ripen in the summer are poisonous and should be removed if you have young children.
Plant in a moist place with sun in winter and shade in the summer (eg under a deciduous tree) 40cm (16') apart and they will increase rapidly.
