Herbaceous Clematis make a delightful show in the border. They may be trained to grow upright with support but are even more effective if allowed to ramble amongst shrubs, herbaceous plants or other climbers. They flower from new growth so cut the plants back in early Spring to 20-25cm. Flowers from June to September.
