Ismene festalis

Exotic sweet scented plant for green house or conservatory. Start in pots in a minimum temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit using a light mixture of loam, leafmould and sand. Water little at first but freely during the growing season. They may be planted outside in mild districts but give them a protective layer of bracken or similar material during the Winter. Flowers June to August.
