An immaculately formed large flower, Sherbourne has three layers of perianth segments are a clear yellow with a slight green tinge which are interspersed with short orange yellow petaloids creating a wonderful colour combination Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Sherbourne is a Division 4 – Double Narcissi, this variety, as the named suggests, varies from the other divisions due to its distinguishing double flowers. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Sherbourne will grow to around 45cm and is recommended for exhibition. It has also been presented the RHS Award of Merit.
