- Description
A selection found growing wild in Morocco, romieuxii Julia Jane has a soft greenish yellow funnel cup which almost hides its narrow tapered perianth petals. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. romieuxii Julia Jane is a Division 10 – Species and Dwarf Narcissi, the romieuxii is a sub-species of the bulbocodium variety. These have narrow lance-shaped perianth segments and a corolla which resembles and old gramophone speaker. These varieties enjoy a sunny situation in the garden and may take a year to fully establish but once they do they will bloom profusely. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. romieuxii Julia Jane will grow to around 15cm.
