What should I be doing in the Garden this month?
Daffodils Dwarf Narcissi Rip Van Winkle
A little Narcissi from the Emerald Isle, where is found growing in the wild, Rip Van Winkle has an abundance of perianth petals and a double trumpet, both shading from soft to deep yellow as you get towards the centre of the flower. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Rip Van Winkle is a Division 10 – Species and Dwarf Narcissi. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Rip Van Winkle will grow to around 15cm.
