Daffodils Large Cupped Daffodils Fragrant Breeze
As its name suggests, Fragrant Breeze is a deliciously fragrant flower with pure white rounded petals with a shallow cup which opens a light orange which turns to an apricot yellow. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Fragrant Breeze is a Division 2 – Large Cupped Narcissi, these have comparable characteristics to the Trumpet Daffodils with a single flower to a stem with a cup which is a similar size to its perianth’s segments. The difference between the daffodils and narcissus is down to the size of the cup, daffodils have a large trumpet while narcissus have a smaller cup. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Fragrant Breeze will grow to around 45cm.
