A lovely flower, Misty Glen has rounded pure white perianth segments. Its white neat, straight cup is nicely frilled at the mouth and has a distinct green centre. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Misty Glen is a Division 2 – Large Cupped Narcissi, these have comparable characteristics to the Trumpet Daffodils with a single flower to a stem with a cup which is a similar size to its perianth’s segments. The difference between the daffodils and narcissus is down to the size of the cup, daffodils have a large trumpet while narcissus have a smaller cup. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Misty Glen will grow to around 42cm and has also been presented the RHS Award of Merit.
