A good showy variety, Pinza has deep golden yellow perianth with an orange cup which fades towards the base and is richer at the rim. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Pinza is a Division 2 – Large Cupped Narcissi, these have comparable characteristics to the Trumpet Daffodils with a single flower to a stem with a cup which is a similar size to its perianth’s segments. The difference between the daffodils and narcissus is down to the size of the cup, daffodils have a large trumpet while narcissus have a smaller cup. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus is ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Pinza will grow to around 45cm and has also been presented the RHS Award of Merit.
