Daffodils Trumpet Daffodil Watch Up
An imposing Flower, Watch Out has a long golden yellow trumpet with overlapping perianth petals of a slightly softer colour. Our Daffodils and Narcissi are ordered following the Royal Horticultural Society’s classification. Watch Out is a Division 1 – Trumpet Daffodil, these are characterised by a single flower to a stem with a trumpet which is as long, or longer, than its perianth’s segments. The difference between a daffodil and narcissus is down to the size of the cup, daffodils have a large trumpet while narcissus have a smaller cup. A well-drained soil, deeply worked and containing some humus us ideal for narcissus and they will not tolerate a waterlogged soil. Arkle will grow to around 40cm and is recommended for exhibition.
