- Description
Black Beauty is a fine, strong lily, raised in Oregon in 1957 from a cross between Lilium speciosum rubrum and Lilium henryii. Its petals are strongly reflexing and almost curve back and touch the stemand in colour range from dark wine red to crimson with a very finely edge of white. Much like its parent L. henryii, Black Beauty is lime tolerant and should be planted approximately 20cm deep and 35-40cm apart.
