With the characteristic untidy leaves of its pink variety C. x powellii, C. x powellii Album is a spectacular white variety with wide, flaring trumpet flowers, with up to twelve each head which come out in turn. Like C. x powellii plant the bulbs so the nose is level with the surface of the soil and set 50 to 60cm apart.
