A large lavender tulip with a silvery white edging, Cummins is a Fringed Tulip which is a popular variety from the Chelsea Flower Show. A form which is now separately classified from the Parrot Tulips as the edges have a clear crystalline fringe as opposed to more deeply cut feathered effect of Parrot Tulips.
