A large lavender tulip with a silvery white edging, Cummins is a Fringed Tulip which is a popular variety from the Chelsea Flower Show. A form which is now separately classified from the Parrot Tulips as the edges have a clear crystalline fringe as opposed to more deeply cut feathered effect of Parrot Tulips. The Fringed Tulips are predominantly lacking the green markings on the outer petals which is quite common in Parrot Tulips. Cummins will grow to 55cm and will flower in April to May.
