Tulips Lily Flowered Tulip Greenstar

With long reflexing snow white petals with a green flame which open like a star, the aptly named Green Star is a Lily Flowered Tulip. Introduced in 1915 Lily Flowered Tulips can trace their origins back to the 18th Century and the Species Tulip acuminata. With long and elegant reflexed pointed petals The Lily Flowered Tulips are best grown in groups within the border with their strong wiry stems. They flower from Late April into May and are on average 50cm tall, with Greenstar in particular growing shorter to 45cm.
