Avignon is a rosy red May Flowering Tulip which is much admired yearly at our Chelsea Flower Show exhibit. A strong and sturdy variety which mark the end of the Spring season. Thanks to their durable nature they stand up well to any inclement weather conditions. The May Flowering Tulips contain some of our tallest varieties with most tulips over 55cm, Avignon being above to this average at 70cm. Sport of 'Renown', raised 1966
