Dordogne is a May Flowering Tulip, predominantly claret rose in colour it veined pale red merging to a tangerine orange towards the petals edges. A strong and sturdy variety which mark the end of the Spring season. Thanks to their durable nature they stand up well to any inclement weather conditions. The May Flowering Tulips contain some of our tallest varieties with most tulips over 55cm, Dordogne being above this average at 65cm. It also holds an 'RHS Garden of Merit' award. Sport of 'Menton' raised 1991
